Can I switch plans later?

Yes. Upgrade or downgrade at any time. Changes take effect on your next billing cycle. No lock-in contracts.

What counts as a seat?

A team account starts at $500/month and 10 seats are included. Every person who logs in takes a seat, and every seat has the full product — nothing is held back on a cheaper tier. Five people today means room to double before the price moves.

Is there a free trial?

No. Monthly plans can be cancelled anytime; annual plans are prepaid.

Why should I choose Team instead of Individual?

Because a team account is one shared workspace. Individual accounts are separate single-person workspaces — five of them cannot see each other's schedule, customers or job history. A team account puts everyone on the same jobs, the same customer records and one invoice, and that is what runs a company rather than a person.

How does the AI Engine add-on work?

AI Engine is the intelligence on top of your captured data: reports drafted for you, quality scoring, receipts read automatically, and improvement suggestions. Choose Claude or OpenAI per workspace. Available per seat on any plan, including Individual.

Can different stakeholders share a workspace?

Yes. Manufacturers, service providers, and engineers can collaborate in shared workspaces while keeping their own data autonomous and secure.

Do you offer discounts for annual billing?

Yes. Individual saves 25% with one annual payment of $360. A team account saves 20% billed annually. The annual rate is earned by prepaying twelve months up front — it is the only discount we offer.

Can I refer people to Techpool? Can I make money? Can I become a sales agent?

Yes — and if you're already a customer, you already have a code. Every Techpool company gets a referral code automatically, in Settings. Share it and earn 10% of the revenue from every seat onboarded with it, in perpetuity. Want to do this seriously? Apply to become a referral partner — approved partners earn up to 30%, based on the strength of their application.

Where can I get Instant Capture?

Instant Capture is available on the Apple App Store and Google Play. It works offline and syncs when you're back in coverage.

Is Instant Capture stand-alone or connected to Techpool?

Both. Instant Capture works on its own, or connected to Techpool as your main capture surface — everything you capture lands straight in your workspace.
